Kevin V. Kozal specializes in real estate transactions and land use law. Kozal's practice includes representing clients before various administrative agencies, including city councils and planning commissions, and in real estate transactional matters. During law school, Kozal served as staff member and publication editor for USC's Major Tax Planning and The Computer Law Journal.

Kozal has served on several non-profit and chamber boards.  He is a past president and current board member of Many Mansions, a nonprofit housing developer/provider based in Thousand Oaks. He has served as a board member of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce and as vice president of finance and as a member of the board of directors for Senior Health and Peer Counseling (now WISE and Healthy Aging). He also has served as the chairperson of the Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Government Relations and Land Use Committee and as a member of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce’s General Plan Task Force. In addition, he volunteers with the Loaves & Fishes program at Saint Jude’s Catholic Community in Westlake Village.
