  • Zoning Ordinance Update

    The City of Santa Monica is comprehensively updating its Zoning Ordinance in order to implement the Land Use and Circulation Element adopted by the City Council on July 6, 2010. We are actively participating in the Zoning Ordinance update process, including monitoring the City’s public hearings and workshops, participating in interviews with the City’s consultants and providing the City with written comments on behalf of various clients.

  • Downtown Specific Plan

    The City of Santa Monica is preparing a new Downtown Specific Plan. We are actively participating in that process, including monitoring the City’s public hearings and workshops and providing the City with written comments on behalf of various interested clients.

  • Memorial Park Neighborhood Plan

    The City of Santa Monica is preparing the Memorial Park Neighborhood Plan.  We are participating in that process, including monitoring the City's public hearings and workshops.

  • Bergamot Area Plan

    The City of Santa Monica's Bergamot Area Plan includes development standards, use regulations, design guidelines, and other land use regulations for the areas near the 26th Street/Bergamot Expo Light Rail Station.  We actively participated in the Bergamot Area Plan process, including monitoring the City's public hearings and workshops and providing the City with written input on behalf of various clients.  The Santa Monica City Council adopted the Bergamot Area Plan on September 10, 2013.

  • Land Use and Circulation Element

    The City of Santa Monica adopted its new Land Use and Circulation Element (“LUCE”) on July 6, 2010. We were actively involved throughout that multi-year process. We monitored the numerous City workshops and public hearings and provided the City with written comments on behalf of various clients and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce’s Land Use Committee. The LUCE is intended to be the City’s land use constitution for the next 15-20 years.
