Kenneth L. Kutcher practices in the areas of real estate, land use, administrative law and land use litigation. He has appeared before a wide variety of public agencies, including planning commissions, city councils, board of supervisors, architectural review boards, landmarks/heritage commissions, zoning administrators, the California Coastal Commission, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Department, Department of Real Estate, and various state and federal courts.
Prior to starting in private practice, Kutcher served as an intern to the Honorable Winslow Christian in the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District. In addition, he was appointed to the Order of the Coif for his scholastic achievement in law school.
Kutcher has served as a board member for the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, chaired the Chamber’s Growth Management Task Force and was co-chair of the Chamber’s Land Use Committee. He is a board member for Upward Bound House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing shelter to homeless families with minor children. He also has served as a board member of various other community organizations.
In addition to his professional and volunteer activities in Santa Monica, Kutcher is also civically active in Culver City, where he resides.
